Day 1

Give yourself permission to start over and be a beginner!

 

We are excited to offer our first ever, beginner & on-boarding program called "Day 1." This is an introduction to our group fitness classes as well as an introductory program for those looking to start working toward improving their physical health & fitness. These classes will be perfect for you if you're just getting back to exercise, if you're brand new to group fitness or if you have ever considered trying a new class type but wanted a "beginner friendly" version.

 

The Day 1 program will be offered for ONE WEEK ONLY and spots are limited to 10 participants. The cost for the program is $60 and includes the following:

  • 4 educational/foundational classes;

    • Day 1 Indoor Cycling with Pam Raes Monday September 13th 

    • Day 1 Intro to Barre with Karrah Bruder Tuesday September 14th 

    • Day 1 Making A Successful Schedule with Arielle DeVito Wed September 15th 

    • Day 1 Intro to Strength Training with Amanda Bourne Thursday September 16th

  • Personalized attention for form modifications and set up for each class type

  • 4 free fitness class passes to use for future classes (must complete all 4 sessions) 

 

Classes can also be purchased as a $15 drop-in option if you're only interested in a specific class type; however free class passes are only available once all 4 intro classes have been attended.

Class Descriptions

Intro to Indoor Cycling  MONDAY SEPTEMBER 13th

Our instructor Pam Raes will show you

  • The "anatomy" of a cycling bike & class ride

  • What you can expect in a typical class

  • How to properly set up your bike for the most comfortable ride

  • How to get on and off the bike

  • The science behind why indoor cycling is such a great way to improve your health & fitness

This 30 minute class is part of our week-long beginner's program.

 

Intro to Barre Fitness TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 14th
Our instructor Karrah Bruder will teach you

  • All the barre terminology

  • How to choose the right equipment for class

  • Correct postures and form

  • Exercise moves and the range of motion for each

This 30 minute class is part of our week-long beginner's program.

Making a Successful Schedule WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 15th

We know what it's like to try different programs and not find the one that's quite right, or to even have your own plan only to lack in the results you're after.


In this education-based class, our instructor Arielle DeVito will teach you

  • What you need to lose weight, gain strength or breakthrough plateaus

  • How to schedule realistic workouts in a crazy schedule

  • The basics of what you need to be successful

  • How many days of strength training and cardio you'll need to reach your health & fitness goals

This 30 minute class is part of our week-long beginner's program. 

Intro to Strength Training THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 16th

Our instructor Amanda Bourne will teach you

  • The difference between kettlebells, dumbbells, cable machines and body weight has for your strength improvement

  • What muscles make up "upper body" & how to strengthen & tone them

  • What muscles make up "lower body" & how to strengthen & tone them

  • What a "rep" and a "set" are in real time!

This 30 minute class is part of our week-long beginner's program. Upon completion of this initial week, you'll receive 4 free fitness classes to use for future visits.
